“Delicious Autumn!

My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.”–George Eliot

This has always been our favorite time of year…the colors, the scents, the flavors of autumn always manage to thrill. And all that was before we tried the Pumpkin Pie Martini! This martini is made with pumpkin pie syrup from the coffee shop and Pinnacle Whipped vodka, topped with whipped cream, cinnamon, and garnished with a cinnamon stick. The server recommended for an appetizer, entree, or dessert….it is probably good for all three, but it really, really makes a most delicious (and seasonally appropriate) dessert.

Trust us on this.

The Dandy-Quicker Conundrum

Some say, “Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker.” While that’s rather pithy, we here at the P & P Drinking Company say why not have the best of all worlds?

At a recent birthday party, in the “candy is dandy” category, there was a this tray instead of a cake:
Complete with Swedish fish, Hershey’s kisses, Good ‘n’ Plenty, and pixie sticks. (When was the last time you had a pixie stick?)

That was tasty treat, for sure. But in the “liquor is quicker” category:
Three Olives now makes a Tartz-flavored vodka. Add a little flavored seltzer and a crazy straw….it tastes just like candy.

Trust us on this.
